Vikki RoodLife’s journey, filled with equal parts love and suffering, led to her becoming one Transformational Life Coach, especially for women worldwide.
As a young child, Vikki was the eldest of four children in a family full of insecurity. Her father struggled with alcoholism, and walking on eggshells and worrying about what would happen was the norm. Always a caring and supportive older sister and friend, Vikki tended to put her needs, feelings and ideas in the background. This would explain their propensity for achievement, leadership and risky behaviors later in life.
As she grew up, Vikki vacillated between being a show-off and being a party girl, having discovered alcohol herself. She graduated, moved to the big city of Chicago and began working in the hospitality industry. After her marriage, she had two children and had great success in sales and as a director in the management team. However, at some point she realized that she had an addiction problem. She decided to get sober and was able to raise her two children and support herself. Still, something was missing.
As she became professionally and financially successful, Vikki became increasingly distracted and emotionally and spiritually drained. “I knew something had to change. But I had no idea how this change would play out because as a single mother, I don’t dare take risks. Then a dear friend mentioned that I should become a “coach”. She told me the value I brought to her life and how I supported so many others. I took a leap of faith and signed up for the Artist of the Spirit coaching course. From there, the mission evolved to create a space for women to discover their worth and choose to live a joyful life.”
Today, Vikki has emerged as a leading personality Transformational life coach, especially for women worldwide. As a trained improviser and corporate trainer for emotional intelligence, group spirit and teamwork, she supports managers on several levels. “I simply help people discover what is already within them – passion, values, intrinsic worthiness and joy. I create a safe and compassionate environment where the women I work with can fully see themselves. We use transformative, self-compassionate, and joyful ways to be our authentic selves and figure out how to put ourselves on the priority list. This helps us find balance, self-love and more create a life worth living.”
Vikki’s strength lies in seeing people for who they are and allowing them to recognize their strengths and passions. “I can listen to what is not being said and allow for alternative perspectives. One way that has helped me is to speak authentically in a fun and honest way so that others can come to self-knowledge on their own.”
She is also able to set healthy boundaries in her business and personal life, allowing her to be powerful in all areas. She has a theory about work, relationships and self-acceptance that was given to her by a wise friend – “Relentless Forward Motion.”
Vikki is a mother of two, engaged to her best friend and has a close circle of friends and family that means a lot to her. She is intuitive and empathetic and her client list is constantly growing. During the pandemic, she has been able to share virtual meetings with thousands of people around the world, providing healing and recovery every day. Going digital gave her global reach and taught her how to use her voice and platform to advance others. To find out more about Vikki, visit https://whoswho.world/ or send us an email address.
